Who is Jesus?

Have you thought about the next life?

Hopefully if you are reading this page it is because you have a concern as to the eternal destination of your soul. Getting saved is quite simple, but it didn’t come cheap. It cost the dear Son of God His life. You see Christ died for the sins of the world. He was crucified upon a cross at Calvary. The just for the unjust, the righteous for the unrighteous.

Through His death, burial, and resurrection you and I have the way of salvation. It is through the finished work of Calvary. You see it cost Him everything so that you and I could accept God’s simple plan of salvation. So, what must you do to be saved?

How to have a personal relationship with Jesus...

I. You must realize you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” We can never merit Heaven because our good works.
Rom.3: 10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.”

II. You must realize the penalty for your sin.
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death…” Sin brings both physical and spiritual death.

III. You must realize that Jesus paid sin’s penalty for your sin.
Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection are the payment for your sin. He died in your place because He loves you.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

IV. You must repent and believe on Jesus Christ as your Savior.
Mark 1:15”…repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
Luke 13:3 “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
Romans 10:9,10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

You see, repentance is not cleaning your life up or turning over a new leaf, it is a “change of mind” or “to come into agreement with another.” You must agree with God about your sin, its penalty, Christ’s death, and that He is the only way for salvation. Once you agree with God, then you can receive Christ as your Savior simply by asking Him to forgive your sin and save you.

I urge you, call on Jesus Christ to save your soul. He is waiting.

John 3:15 “That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
